The Western Hockey League today announced a player suspension and fines to two WHL Clubs.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes and the Vancouver Giants have each been fined as a result of an altercation late in the contest between the two clubs in Lethbridge on November 6th.

The Vancouver Giants have been fined $500.00 for initiating a multiple fight situation at 19:54 of the 3rd period at Lethbridge on November 6th.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes have been fined $250.00 for their involvement in the same situation.

In a separate incident, David Boychuk of the Spokane Chiefs has received a one game suspension for a boarding penalty versus Tri-Cities on November 3.
