BLADES ESCAPE WITH 3-2 OVERTIME VICTORY AGAINST OIL KINGS
Despite being outshot by a 39-18 margin, the Saskatoon Blades escaped with a 3-2 overtime victory against the Edmonton Oil Kings. Blades forward Wyatt Sloboshan netted his third goal of the season in overtime and tallied an assist to claim first star honours. The Oil Kings have dropped five in a row.

PATS 3, ICE 2
The Regina Pats held off the Kootenay ICE by a score of 3-2 to pick up the road win Tuesday night. Pats forward Sam Steel recorded two points (1g-1a) while defenceman Sergey Zborovskiy tallied a pair of assists. ICE forward Luke Philp scored his fifth goal of the season on the power play with less than five minutes remaining in the third period to cut the Pats lead to 3-2 but the ICE fell short. Pats netminder Daniel Wapple was solid in stopping 37 of 39 shots.

HITMEN 2, COUGARS 5
Jesse Gabrielle scored twice as the Prince George Cougars beat the Calgary Hitmen 5-2. Along with Gabrielle’s two goal performance, Cougars forward Kody McDonald contributed with three points (1g-2a) to go along with a plus-2 rating. Hitmen defenceman Travis Sanheim scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season in a losing effort.
