Stuart Skinner turned aside all 34 shots he faced to pick up his third shutout of the season and guide the Lethbridge Hurricanes to their 10th straight victory with a 3-0 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings. Lethbridge went 2/6 on the power play with goals from forwards Giorgio Estephan and Kord Pankewicz. Edmonton outshot Lethbridge 34-21 in a losing effort.

The Victoria Royals scored four goals in the opening frame and went on to beat the Vancouver Giants by a score of 5-1. Royals forward Hared Dmytriw netted two goals to lead the offence for Victoria while teammate Jack Walker tallied two assists.

Alex Schoenborn scored the eventual game winner midway through the third period to give the Portland Winterhawks a 4-3 edge over the Tri-City Americans. Winterhawks rearguard Blake Heinrich netted a goal and an assist along with a plus-2 rating while goaltender Adin Hill stopped 27 shots in the win.

The Brandon Wheat Kings scored three times on the power play en route to a 4-0 shutout win over East Division rival, the Regina Pats. Wheat Kigns netminders Jordan Papirny was named the game’s third star after stopping all 22 shots to earn the shutout. Jayce Hawryluk buried two goals for the Wheat Kings who have now won three in a row.
