ROCKETS BLANK HITMEN 3-0 TO COLLECT THIRD WIN IN A ROW
Jackson Whistle was solid in the cage for the Kelowna Rockets as he turned aside all 26 shots he faced in blanking the Calgary Hitmen by a 3-0 final. Rockets forward Tyson Baillie recorded another multiple point effort with two assists to claim second star honours. Kelowna went 1-2 on the power play while holding Calgary scoreless on six power play opportunities.

HURRICANES 4, Oil KINGS 3
Hurricanes defenceman Andrew Nielsen registered a goal and two assists as Lethbridge went on to defeat the Edmonton Oil Kings 4-3. The Hurricanes overcame a two goal deficit in the third period by scoring three goals in a 2:04 span to take the 4-3 lead and hang on for the win. Lethbridge has won six in a row while sending Edmonton to their sixth straight defeat.

THUNDERBIRDS 0, SILVERTIPS 2
Carter Hart was brilliant in stopping all 32 shots he faced to blank the Seattle Thunderbirds by a 2-0 score. The Everett Silvertips got goals from defenceman Lucas Skrumeda and Connor Dewar in the second period. Thunderbirds goaltender Logan Flodell countered with 22 saves in a losing cause.

Ivan Nikolishin scored twice to lead the Red Deer Rebels to a 4-3 win against the Kootenay ICE. Luke Philp netted his seventh and eighth goals of the season for the ICE, including one with 21 seconds remaining in the third period to cut the Rebel’s lead to 4-3. Kootenay could not complete the comeback and have now drpped five straight decisions while Red Deer has won five in a row.

The Victoria Royals ended their four-game losing skid with a 3-0 win over the Spokane Chiefs. Royals goaltender Griffen Outhouse was perfect in backstopping 24 shots to post both his first win and shutout of the season. Jack Walker and Matthew Phillips each collected a goal and an assist in the Royal’s win.

WARRIORS 0, BRONCOS 3
Landon Bow was productive in goal for the Swift Current Broncos as he made 25 saves to shutout the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Club’s 3-0 victory. Broncos forward Glenn Gawdin was involved in all three goals for Swift Current with two goals and one assist. The Broncos outshot the Warriors 35-25 in the win.
WINTERHAWKS 5, AMERICANS 4
The Portland Winterhawks had five different goal scorers in their 5-4 win over divisional rival, the Tri- City Americans. Team captain Dominic Turgeon recorded two points (1g-1a) while teammate Keegan Iverson collected two assists. The Americans scored three of their four goals in the third period and held the edge in shots 42-35 over Portland.
