Jamal Watson scored twice in the third period to lead the Swift Current Broncos to a convincing 4-1 win over the Prince Albert Raiders. Broncos goaltender Travis Child was solid as he turned aside 29 shots in the victory.

WHEAT KINGS 5, BLADES 1
The Brandon Wheat Kings netted three power play markers in the opening frame to down the Saskatoon Blades 5-1. Wheat Kings forward Jayce Hawryluk scored his 41st goal of the season on a short-handed rush in the second period and added a power play goal midway through the third period. Macoy Erkamps chipped in offensively with a goal and two assists as the Wheat Kings captain was named the game’s third star.

WARRIORS 4, PATS 5 (OT)
The Regina Pats edged the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-4 in a shootout thanks to the decisive shootout winner from forward Sam Steel. Pats forward Lane Zablocki registered (1g-1a) while Warriors forward Tanner Jeannot tallied a goal and an assist as well. Regina significantly outshot Moose Jaw in the tilt, finishing the night with 49 shots on goal compared to 28 for the Warriors.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes scored early and often en route to a 6-1 victory over the Red Deer Rebels. Hurricanes captain Tyler Wong scored twice to hit the 40-goal plateau while defenceman Kord Pankewicz recorded three points (1g-2a) to earn second star honours. Lethbridge went 2/3 on the man advantage and held Red Deer scoreless on five power play opportunities.

The Calgary Hitmen dominated the Edmonton Oil Kings from start to finish as they picked up the 5-0 shutout. Hitmen forward Jordy Stallard scored a pair of goals while Cody Porter stopped all 29 shots he faced to post his third shutout of the season.

With the score tied at two goals apiece through 40 minutes, the Victoria Royals erupted for four goals in the third period to tame the Prince George Cougars by a score of 6-2. Rookie forward Matthew Phillips buried two power play goals to now sit at 36 on the season. The Royals outshot the Cougars 45-27 and see their winning streak extend to nine in a row.

The Spokane Chiefs had six different skaters find the back of the net as their balanced attack led the Club to a 6-1 victory over the Tri-City Americans.
