RAIDERS EDGE PATS 3-2 ON NIGHT WHERE DAVE MANSON’S NUMBER WAS RETIRED
The Prince Albert Raiders raised alumnus Dave Manson’s number ‘4’ to the rafters on Friday night ahead of their match-up with the Regina Pats. Dalton Yorke recorded two points (1g-1a) to help guide the Raiders to a 3-2 victory. His teammate Reid Gardiner notched a goal and an assist as well, including his Club leading 35th goal of the season.

BRONCOS 4, WARRIORS 6
The Moose Jaw Warriors had six different skaters light the lamp in their 6-4 win over the Swift Current Broncos. Warriors defenceman Tanner Faith registered two points (1g-1a), including scoring the eventual game winner late in the second period on the power play. Broncos forward Lane Pederson tallied two points (1g-1a) in a losing cause.

Tyler Wong netted a hat-trick as the Lethbridge Hurricanes defeated the Tri-City Americans by a score of 5-3. Lethbridge went 2/7 on the power play while Tri-City finished 1/6 on the man advantage. It was a chippy affair as the two Clubs combined for 78 minutes in penalties.

Carsen Twarynski lit the lamp three times to pick up the hat-trick and lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 34-1 win over the Red Deer Rebels. Hitmen defenceman Jake Bean scored his 21st goal of the season on a power play in the third period to break a 1-1 tie. Calgary outshot Red Der by a 41-30 margin.

The Brandon Wheat Kings earned their seventh victory over their last 10 contests with a big 7-1 win against the Saskatoon Blades. Wheat Kings forward collected two goals and three assists for a five point night en route to taking home first star honours. Wheat Kings alternate captain Nolan Patrick had a big game with four points (1g-3a) to go along with a plus-3 rating. Brandon dominated Saskatoon in shots on goal, outshooting them 55-20 in the win.

Matt Alfaro and Jesse Zaharichuk scored in the shootout to knock off the Spokane Chiefs 3-2 on Friday night. ICE goaltender Declan Hobbs turned aside 40 shots to post the victory and earn second star honours. Spokane has lost three straight games.

The Portland Winterhawks held on to top the Everett Silvertips 3-2. Winterhawks forward Alex Overhardt scored a goal and added an assist to claim first star honours. Everett outshot Portland 46-23 as Adin Hill was terrific with a 44 save outing.

The Kelowna Rockets prevailed in overtime to conquer the Prince George Cougars 4-3. Rourke Chartier buried the overtime winner at the 2:47 mark in the extra frame and also notched two goals in regulation for the hat-trick. Cougars forward Jesse Gabrielle amassed his 35th goal of the year and chipped in with an assist.

Connor Ingram gathered his third shutout of the season as the Kamloops Blazers beat the Vancouver Giants by a score of 5-0. The Blazers scored two goals in the opening frame, outshooting Vancouver 16-10 along the way. Blazers forward Collin Shirley tallied two assists while Ryan Rehill notched his seventh goal of the season.
