WHL Alumni Derrick Pouliot discusses days with Winterhawks
During the Vancouver Canucks’ bye-week, Western Hockey League Alumni Derrick Pouliot stopped by a Portland Winterhawks game to discuss his playing days in the WHL with the Winterhawks’ broadcast team of Evan Richardson and Andy Kemper.
Pouliot, a veteran of 247 WHL regular season games, recording 205 points (42G-163A) is back on the West Coast after an off-season trade brought him to the Canucks from the Pittsburgh Penguins, who drafted him in the first round, eighth overall, of the 2012 NHL Draft.
