THURSDAY’S WHL ROUND-UP

WARRIORS TOP ‘CANES IN OVERTIME – Travis Brown scored twice, including the overtime winner, to lead the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors to a 4-3 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the lone Western Hockey League contest on Thursday night.

Brayden Point notched a goal and an assist for the Warriors, who overturned a 3-0 deficit in the third period to post the win. 

Tyler Wong scored his seventh goal of the season for the Hurricanes, who suffer their third loss in a row and their ninth setback in 10 games.
