THURSDAY’S WHL ROUND-UP

HITMEN EDGE BLADES IN SHOOTOUT – Greg Chase tallied a goal and an assist in regulation play then notched the winner in a shootout to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-3 victory over the visiting Saskatoon Blades in Western Hockey League action on Thursday.

Braddy Brassart also tallied a goal and two assists for Calgary, who have won three of their last four games.  Nikita Scherbak scored two goals for Saskatoon, which sees a four-game win streak snapped.
