This Week in WHL History:
- On Feb. 21, 2011, a WHL record 20,888 people attended the outdoor game at McMahon Stadium between the Calgary Hitmen and Regina Pats; Chandler Stephenson potted the game-winner with only 37 seconds left in regulation to give Regina a 3-2 victory over Calgary
- Jock Callander of the Regina Pats picked up a point for the 47th consecutive game on Feb. 23, 1982 and he netted 141 points in total over that streak; it is tied for the second longest point scoring streak in WHL history
- Callander’s teammate, Wally Schreiber, also had a 47-game point streak and Schreiber recorded 99 points over his streak
