Silvertips Add Fiala to Roster

Everett, WA – September 15th, 2005: Ondrej Fiala, the Everett Silvertips 1st Round Selection (30th Overall) in the 2005 CHL Import Draft was added to the Silvertips roster earlier today.

rThe Stenberk, Czech Republic native posted 6 goals and 6 assists in 29 games for HC Trinec and 3 goals and 5 assists in 11 games for HC Kladno last season. Fiala also played in 40 games in the Czech Extraliga Under-20 Hockey League.

rFiala also played for the Czech National Under-18 Team at the 2005 World Junior Under-18 Hockey Championships and recorded 2 goals and added an assist in 7 games at the tournament.

rThe Silvertips will begin their 3rd WHL season on Saturday, September 24th in Kamloops and will hold their home opener at the Everett Events Center on Saturday, October 1st against the Prince George Cougars.
