Seattle Thunderbirds goaltender Bryan Bridges Set WHL Record for Most Shutouts in a Career with 20
rWith the Seattle Thunderbirds 2-0 shutout victory over the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors last night, goaltender Bryan Bridges has set a Western Hockey League record for most shutouts in a career with 20. The shutout record was previously held by Bridges and former Kelowna Rocket goaltender Kelly Guard with 19.
r
rBridges, the 20-year-old goaltender from Victoria, British Columbia and Kelly Guard also holds the WHL record for the most shutouts in a single season with 13. Guard set the shutout record in 2003-04 and Bridges tied the record last season.

râThe guys played a great game in front of me today,â? said Bridges. âEverybody played 100% and we played it for a full 60 minutes. We just beat a fourth place team here in the whole WHL. I think we are ready to start going on a roll here.â?
r
rIt was the first game back in the lineup for Bridges after he missed 18 games with an ankle sprain suffered Nov. 20, 2005, during a shootout win over Tri-City.
