PATS AND WHEAT KINGS COMPLETE TRADE
Regina, SK – Regina Pats General Manager Chad Lang announced this morning that they have acquired 20 year old defenceman, Mark Schneider from the Brandon Wheat Kings in exchange for 18 year old forward, Dominick Favreau.
Mark is entering his 4th full season in the WHL in a career that began with the Kamloops Blazers. In 2009-10, Schneider played in 60 games with the Wheat Kings, scoring 9 times picking up 12 assists for 21 points. He was also part of a Brandon club that won the East Division last season and went to the Memorial Cup Final.
