Ice Trade Defenseman to the Hurricanes

Cranbrook, BC — Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, today announced that the club has traded 19-year-old Defenseman Paul MacDonald to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a seventh round pick in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft.

rIn other ICE news, Forward Jason MacDonald (5-0-1-1-6) has left the team on his own accord bringing the ICE roster to 21 players, including three goaltenders, seven defenseman, and 11 forwards.

rKootenay returns to action this weekend with a pair of home games against the Everett Silvertips (Friday, November 9 – 7:00 pm) and the Seattle Thunderbirds (Sunday, November 11 – 6:00 pm). Tickets for both games are available at the Kootenay ICE Office and Kootenay Collectibles.
