Hitmen Trade Morrison

The Calgary Hitmen have traded Forward Lance Morrison (83) to the Regina
rPats in exchange for a 4th Round selection in the 2004 WHL Bantam Draft.

rMorrison was acquired by the Hitmen from the Kootenay Ice at the start of
rthe 2001-02 WHL season. Morrison accumulated 40 points in 62 games during
rhis first campaign with Calgary, and 28 points in 58 games last season.

reach player will be given the chance to finish their careers in the Western
rHockey League. Lance is a quality person and we believe he will be
rsuccessful with the Regina Pats,” said Hitmen General Manager Kelly Kisio.

rCalgary currently has five overage players on the Hitmen roster and must
rhave that number down to three by the WHL Deadline on October 16th, 2003.
