HITMEN ACQUIRE AMUNDRUD
The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced they have acquired 18-year-old goaltender Nik Amundrud (am-un-DROOD) from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.
“With the current injury to Kyle Dumba we felt it necessary to acquire another goaltender to provide depth at this position,” said Hitmen General Manager and Vice President of Business Operations Mike Moore. “We look forward to welcoming Nik to Calgary.”

The Hitmen, 16-10-1-1, tied for second place in the WHL’s Central Division with the Hurricanes will travel to Lethbridge on Wednesday to face the ‘Canes in their first meeting of the season (Sportsnet 960-The Fan).
Calgary then returns home on Thur. Dec. 3 to welcome the Prince Albert Raiders to the Scotiabank Saddledome. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
