FOUR FAMILY DAY GAMES TODAY ACROSS WHL
Monday marks Family Day throughout the province of British Columbia and four WHL regular season contests take place this afternoon at 3:00pm MT/2:00pm PT with a variety of game day activities and promotions form all four host Clubs.

The Kamloops Blazers host the Calgary Hitmen today for a Family Day game. Following the game, the Blazers will be hosting a post-game fan skate so bring your skates as fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from Blazers players.

The Kelowna Rockets host the Seattle Thunderbirds this afternoon and are announcing the launch of Club Rockets: An App for Young Rockets fans.
Fans of the Kelowna Rockets will be given the opportunity to learn a new method of engaging with their favourite players with the release of Club Rockets, the newest app from Canadian technology company JBF Kids, Inc.
Club Rockets is an app designed specifically for youth under the age of 13 and features custom artwork that can’t be found anywhere else, trivia that isn’t from the standard pack, and timely player animation and content.
Representatives from JBF Kids Inc. will be at the Rockets game this afternoon (2 p.m., Prospera Place) with information for kids and parents about the new app.

The Vancouver Giants host the Edmonton Oil Kings for Family Day presented by TELUS on Monday, February 8th with puck drop scheduled for 2:00pm PT.
The afternoon will feature a number of family friendly games around the concourse and prizes to be won! Furthermore, fans can join the Giants’ players for a post-game skate on the ice at the Pacific Coliseum! Fans will need to bring their own skates in order to participate, and helmets are mandatory.
Fans are also encouraged to share photos and memories from the game on social media using the hashtag #AllHeartGiants.

The Victoria Royals welcome the Everett Silvertips this afternoon at 2:00pm PT for McRae’s Mad Mondays. Tickets to see the US Division leading Everett Silvertips on Monday for a Family Day matinee contest will be available to fans for only $5.
Fans will have the opportunity to skate with the players after the contest. Fans are encourage to bring their own skates and helmets. Fans can rent skates and helmets by donation from the SOFMC Skate Shop during the game.
