The Calgary Flames have signed Tri-City Americans forward Parker Bell to an entry-level contract.
The NHL Club announced the signing Thursday.
Bell, who hails from Campbell River, B.C., was selected by the Flames in the fifth round of the 2022 NHL Draft.
This past season, Bell finished second among Tri-City scoring leaders with 64 points (25G-39A), helping the Americans reach the 2023 WHL Playoffs.
He added six points (2G-4A) in six post-season contests, then made his professional debut at the conclusion of the 2022-23 American Hockey League campaign, recording one assist in two games with the Calgary Wranglers.
Originally selected by Tri-City in the fifth round of the 2018 WHL Draft, Bell, who celebrates his 20th birthday September 26, has recorded 120 points (44G-76A) in 170 WHL regular season games.
