Broncos’ Kehler Named Head Coach for Team Pacific

The Swift Current Broncos are pleased to announce that Assistant Coach Tim Kehler has been named Head Coach for Team Pacific for this winter’s World U-17 Hockey Championships set for Port Alberni, BC.

rTeam Pacific will be made up of British Columbia and Alberta players and will take on teams from around the world plus four other Canadian Regional Teams. The tournament will run from December 29th, 2008 to January 4th, 2009.

r“Tim has worked with BC hockey for a number of years in their BC Bestever program so it is nice to see him recognized as the guy to lead Team Pacific at the World U-17 tournament at Christmas,” commented Broncos GM/Head Coach Dean Chynoweth. “He has proven in the last year to be a very valuable person among our coaching staff and we know he will do a good job with Team Pacific”.
