BLADES ADD BOLDT & ORR

Blades General Manager & Head Coach Lorne Molleken this afternoon announced that they have acquired 20 year old defenceman Tyler Boldt and forward Jamison Orr from the Brandon Wheat Kings in exchange for a 5th Round Bantam Selection in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft and the option of switching 1st Round CHL Import Selections with the Blades in 2005. Both Tyler Boldt and Jamison Orr call Winnipeg, Manitoba home. Both Tyler and Jamison are expected in a Blade uniform Friday October 15th when the Blades travel into Brandon for a date with the Wheat Kings. With the addition of Tyler the Blades are now carrying three twenty year olds along with Ryan Keller (F) and Ryan Cyr (G).

rTyler was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 8th round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He was a 1st round 1999 Bantam Selection of the Kamloops Blazers. Tyler comes to the Blades highly regarded as a top defensive defenceman. Jamison, an 18 year old left winger from Winnipeg, joins the Blades after spending last season split between the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Vancouver Giants. He is the younger brother of Colton Orr, who finished his WHL career with the Regina Pats.
