WHL Radio Show presented by Bauer: Episode 7

Episode Seven of the WHL Radio Show presented by Bauer, previews the upcoming 2019 CIBC Canada Russia Series. Spokane Chiefs forward Adam Beckman (Minnesota Wild) will head back to his hometown of Saskatoon to compete Wednesday, November 13th and then the next night in Prince Albert. He’ll be our guest.

We’ll take a look back at the 2019 WHL Prairie Classic outdoor game in Regina this past weekend. The Pats set a new franchise attendance record but it was a hometown player from the Calgary Hitmen that stole the show in the end. Plus, Saskatchewan has its first ever victory in the WHL Cup. We’ll have a recap of the event and hear from some of the top players and WHL prospects in the tournament.

Finally, Portland Winterhawks forward Jake Gricius has been named the WHL On The Run Player of the Week. He picked up seven points (4G-3A) in two Portland victories. He’ll join us to close out the show.
