The Raiders scored four straight goals to upset the Saskatoon Blades on home ice, marking Prince Albert’s first win in the playoffs since a 2022 victory against Winnipeg.

Prince Albert goaltender Max Hildebrand made 41 saves and held off a barrage of Saskatoon shots in the dying minutes of the match to preserve a Game 1 victory for the visiting Raiders. This marks the first time Prince Albert has defeated the Blades at the SaskTel Centre this season, doing so in front of nearly 6,800 fans.
