VP Sports & Entertainment presents: Rebels forward Fuder inks entry-level contract with Dallas Stars
Dallas, Texas- Red Deer Rebels forward Jaxon Fuder has put pen to paper on a three-year, entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars, General Manager Jim Nill announced Tuesday.
The 19-year-old has worked his way up after participating in the Stars’ development camp over the summer and joining training camp on an amateur tryout agreement.
Fuder will return to central Alberta for his second season with the Rebels.
The 6-foot, 171-pound winger netted 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 46 games with Red Deer in 2024-25, finishing sixth on the squad in scoring.
He scored a pair of game-winning goals and tied for third in team powerplay points (2G-7A) while clocking in with 91 penalty minutes.
Fuder was selected as the 2024-25 winner of Red Deer’s Darcy Robinson Memorial Award, which recognizes the team’s most underrated player.

Red Deer (0-2-0-0) will hunt for its first win of the season as the Rebels host the Lethbridge Hurricanes (1-1-0-0) on Saturday, September 27, at the Marchant Crane Centrium.
