Victoria continues to add with addition of veteran forward Lisowsky
Victoria, B.C.- The Victoria Royals are continuing to stock up for a postseason push by adding perennial 30-goal scorer Brandon Lisowsky.
The major swap between the Royals and the Saskatoon Blades sees Victoria add Lisowsky and a fifth-round pick in the 2028 WHL Prospects Draft, while the reigning Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy winners take on overage forward Tanner Scott, a second-round pick in 2025 and a second-round pick in 2026.
The move comes the day after the Royals traded for high-scoring winger Kenta Isogai.
Lisowsky, 20, was second in scoring on the East Division-leading Blades with 22 goals (including three game-winners, eight powerplay markers and this year’s Teddy Bear Toss goal) and 21 assists for 43 points and a +13 rating through 29 matches.
He’s only been held off the scoresheet four times this season and boasts 14 multi-point games.

Originally selected by Saskatoon with the ninth overall pick in the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft, Lisowsky has established himself as a consistent scoring threat.
He’s on pace for a career-best campaign with 1.48 points per game and has registered at least 33 goals in three straight seasons.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pound winger is closing in on a major milestone with 143 goals (highlighted by 25 game-winners) and 125 assists for 268 points in 256 regular season matches.
Lisowsky helped Saskatoon record its first 50-win season in 13 years in 2023-24 as the Blades clinched the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy as WHL regular season champions.
He has another 13 goals and 22 assists in 39 playoff contests, which saw Saskatoon reach the WHL Eastern Conference Championship in 2024.
Lisowsky recorded three goals and three assists in the historic seven-game Eastern Conference showdown against the eventual champion Moose Jaw Warriors.
The Toronto Maple Leafs selected the Port Coquitlam, B.C. product in the seventh round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
