The Western Hockey League today announced a player suspension and fines to four clubs.
Jonathan Filewich of the Prince George Cougars has been suspended for three games for receiving a major and game misconduct for kneeing versus the Tri-City Americans on December 8th. He has served one game of the suspension and has two games remaining.
The Prince George Cougars and the Tri-City Americans have each been fined $250.00 for the actions of their players in fight situations late in the game in Prince George on December 8th.
The Portland Winter Hawks and the Spokane Chiefs have each been fined $250.00 for the actions of their players in a first period altercation in Spokane on December 8th.
