Silvertips’ Wolf named to USA’s preliminary World Juniors roster
Everett Silvertips goaltender Dustin Wolf has been named to the preliminary roster of the 2020 United States’ National Junior Team.
The 6-foot-0, 165-pound product of Tustin, Calif. was one of 28 players named to the preliminary roster by the national hockey association Monday afternoon.
Wolf is enjoying another strong season with the division and conference-leading Silvertips, posting an 16-6-0-0 record, 1.86 goals-against average, 0.943 save percentage and five shutouts through 22 games.
For his WHL career, Wolf has a 70-27-2-2 record, 1.83 GAA, 0.936 SV%, and 16 shutouts. The Silvertips chose Wolf in the fifth round, 104th overall, of the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. Wolf has also appeared in 11 WHL playoff games, sporting a 5-4-1-0 record, 1.99 GAA, 0.915 SV%, and one shutout.
At the 2019 NHL Draft, Wolf was chosen by the Calgary Flames in the seventh round, 214th overall.
