We continue with the prospect pool of the Los Angeles Kings.
Koehn Ziemmer
A third-round pick by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2023 NHL Draft, forward Koehn Ziemmer recorded a career year in 2022-23 with the Prince George Cougars. Ziemmer, who calls Mayerthorpe, Alta. home, scored 41 times, totalling 89 points in the regular season before helping the Cougars reach the Second Round of the WHL Playoffs for the first time in 16 years. The 18-year-old has spent his entire WHL career with Prince George since being selected fourth-overall in the 2019 WHL Draft and already has two seasons of 30 or more goals to his name. Overall, Ziemmer has posted 158 points (80G-78A) from his 160 WHL regular season contests.
