Five Trades Completed on Deadline Day
The Western Hockey League today announced that five trades were completed at the WHL Trade Deadline.
The Seattle Thunderbirds traded 19 year old defenceman Gerard Dicaire to the Kootenay Ice for 19 year old defenceman Trevor Johnson.
The Portland Winter Hawks have traded 19 year old defenceman Kris Callaway and a 1st Bantam pick in 2002 to the Lethbridge Hurricanes for 17 year old defenceman Matt Fetzner and 15 year-old listed player C.J Jackson.
The Brandon Wheat Kings have acquired 19 year old forward Adrian Foster from the Saskatoon Blades for 19 year old forward Richard Mueller.
The Prince Albert Raiders traded 19 year old forward Jesse Schultz to the Kelowna Rockets for 18 year old forward Seth Leonard.
The Prince Albert Raiders traded 19 year old forward Mike Wirll and 19 year old defenceman Jay Batchelor to the Prince George Cougars for 19 year old forward Chris Di Ubaldo and a 2nd and 3rd round pick in the 2002 Bantam Draft.
