WHL this Week – Radio Edition, Episode #20: Featuring Pierro-Zabotel, Calvert, Jorgensen

WHL This Week – Radio Edition is a weekly look around the Western Hockey League with host Jon Keen. The show is available each week on the Website and heard around the League in team radio broadcasts.

On this week’s show, we talk with WHL Alumni Reid Jorgensen (Kamloops Blazers 2002-07) as he prepares to represent Canada at the 2009 World University Games in China later this month. Reid along with 18 other WHL graduates will play on the Canadian University Hockey team as they look to defend the gold medal won two years ago in Torino, Italy.  The show also features the reigning Husky WHL Player of the Month, Casey Pierro-Zabotel of the Vancouver Giants, as he continues to chase the 100 point plateau.  Rounding out the WHL This Week – Radio Edition is Boston Pizza WHL Player of the Week Matt Calvert who provides thoughts on his big week and the Brandon Wheat Kings recent play.

Jon also provides the latest news and notes from around the Western Hockey League.
