MONDAY NIGHT’S WHL PLAYOFF MATCH-UPS – Devin Setoguchi (pictured) and the Saskatoon Blades welcome Rejean Beauchemin and the Prince Albert Raiders in game three of their East division first-round series tonight.

rThe Blades, down 0-2 in the best-of-seven series, were blanked 3-0 in Prince Albert on Saturday. Saskatoon’s offense, which scored 234 goals during the regular season, has managed just one goal through the first two games of the series. Saskatoon scratches: Tyson Sievert, Ryan Menei, Ben Van Lare, Chris Cloud.

rThe Raiders hold a 2-0 series lead over the Blades and could tighten their grip on the series with a victory tonight. Beauchemin, the Raiders’ netminder, has stopped 38 of 39 shots through the first two games of the series. Prince Albert scratches: Mike Gauthier.

rElsewhere tonight, the Seattle Thunderbirds host the Tri-City Americans in game two of their U.S. division first-round match-up.

rThe Thunderbirds beat the Americans 3-2 in double overtime on Saturday night to claim a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Derek Couture provided the overtime heroics for the T-Birds while Kyle Fecho chipped in three assists. Seattle scratches: Bretton Stamler, Zack FitzGerald.
