The Western Hockey League today announced several player suspensions and fines.
The Kootenay Ice have been fined $200.00 for a warm-up violation on September 8th against the Calgary Hitmen. Steve Makway of the Kootenay Ice has been suspended for one game for receiving a major and game misconduct for slashing in the same game.
Trent Adamus of the Saskatoon Blades has been suspended for two games for leaving the penalty bench on September 7th against the Prince George Cougars. Kevin Dickie, head coach of the Saskatoon Blades has been fined $250.00 for his actions during the same altercation.
Jordin Tootoo of the Brandon Wheat Kings has been suspended for one game for receiving a major and game misconduct for charging versus the Moose Jaw Warriors on September 6th. He has served the suspension.
