Ryan Michael named latest captain for the Kamloops Blazers
Kamloops, B.C. – The Kamloops Blazers have announced their captain for the 2025-26 season. Ryan Michael will captain the hockey club after spending last season as an assistant captain. Michael is the 39th captain in franchise history.
The 20-year-old defenseman from Langley, B.C. is in his fourth full season with the hockey club. Michael was originally drafted by the Blazers in the third round of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft. He has played 164 WHL games with the hockey club over the past four seasons and has compiled 7 goals, 41 assists for 48 points in his WHL career.
