Royals forward Scott commits to Bowling Green State University
Victoria, B.C.- Victoria Royals forward Tanner Scott has announced his commitment to Bowling Green State University.
The 20-year-old winger will join the program upon the conclusion of his WHL eligibility at the end of the 2024-25 season.
A 5-foot-8, 176-pound winger, Scott has five goals (including one game-winner) and eight assists for 13 points in 14 games this season, tying him for fourth on the Royals in points.
The Sherwood Park, Alta. product has played parts of five seasons with Victoria since being selected 48th overall in the third round of the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft.
He’s tallied 53 goals and 86 assists for 139 points over 234 career regular-season games, in addition to two goals and an assist in four playoff appearances.

Scott and the Royals (11-5-2-1) will hit the road to face Gavin McKenna (2026 NHL Draft-eligible), Andrew Basha (Calgary Flames) and the Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday, November 15.
