Carter Hart made 35 saves, backstopping the Everett Silvertips to a seventh consecutive victory with a 3-1 decision over the Kamloops Blazer Saturday night.
The cherry on the cake was served as the Silvertips locked down a berth in the 2017 WHL Playoffs.
Matt Fonteyne, Patrick Bajkov and Eetu Tuulola built a 3-0 lead for Everett before Lane Bauer spoiled Hart’s shutout bid with only 36 seconds remaining in regulation.
Hart’s 27th win of the season ensured the Silvertips will see post-season action for the 14th straight campaign.

Bullion’s 26 stops were good enough for his 16th win and second shutout of the season.

Jared Bethune and Josh Curtis also scored for the Cougars. Conner McDonald and Tyler Robertson responded for the Oil Kings.
Nick McBride made 31 saves for his 13th win of the season.

The Calgary Hitmen inched closer to moving into third place in the Central Division following a 6-3 win over the Red Deer Rebels Saturday night.
The win pulls the Hitmen within two points of the Rebels for the third seed in the division, with Calgary carrying two games in hand.
Luke Coleman scored twice as the Hitmen erased ad 3-0 deficit to defeat the Rebels.
Matteo Gennaro, Andrei Grishakov, Jameson Murray and Brady Reagan also scored for Calgary. Lane Zablocki scored twice and Austin Pratt tallied the other goal for Red Deer.
Trevor Martin made 34 saves for his ninth win of the season. Lasse Petersen made 41 saves in defeat.
