Boucher was drafted by the Winnipeg Ice in the 8th round, 157th overall in the 2019 WHL bantam draft draft. Making his WHL debut during the 2020-21 regular season where he played in 20 games for the Winnipeg Ice. During the 2022-23 regular season, Boucher was sent to the Prince Albert Raiders where he finished out the remainder of the season. Playing in 61 games for the Raiders. Boucher was then traded to the Thunderbirds in 2023 along with a six round selection in the 2025 draft. In exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2027 WHL draft.
