ICE double Pats 6-3
Cole Muir’s first goal of the season just 55 seconds into the game started another big night for the Winnipeg ICE as they outscored the Regina Pats 6-3 to complete a weekend sweep of their East Division rivals.
Matthew Savoie scored twice, while Zach Benson, Connor McClennon and Maximilian Streule rounded out the attack as the ICE improve their record to 6-0.
Daniel Hauser earned his fourth straight win in goal making 24 saves.
The ICE out shot the Pats 31-27. Winnipeg finished the game 1/3 on the power play while Regina was o/5.
The ICE conclude a busy weekend with a 5:00 face off at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena Sunday afternoon.
