WHERE ARE THEY NOW? – Trey Bradley

The game of hockey can take people a lot of places, and sometimes the route circles back to the start. For Trey Bradley, at the age of 15 he was playing Minor Midget AAA in Toronto, and now approaching age 23 he has signed a one-year contract to play pro hockey for the AHL’s Toronto Marlies. The Marlies are the top affiliate for the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs.

Bradley comes from a hockey family, with his father Brian Bradley being a 13-year NHL veteran with 4 clubs. Brian was selected by Tampa Bay in the expansion draft in 1992, and played there for six seasons. Trey was born in 1996, and calls Tampa Bay home.

Trey Bradley came to Wenatchee as a 17-year old in the 2013-14 season and put up 28 points in 26 games. He finished the season with Youngstown in the USHL, then closed out his junior career the following season, dealt to the Sioux Falls Stampede midway through the year.

At Colorado College, he enjoyed a solid four year career, named to the NCHC Honorable Mention All-Star Team as a senior. He was also nominated for the 2018-19 Hobey Baker Award.

Bradley’s contract with the Toronto Marlies is for the 2019-20 season. He is with the Marlies on an ATO (Amateur Tryout) contract for the remainder of the 2018-19 season. The Marlies playoffs begin tonight, Friday, April 19.
