“WHERE ARE THEY NOW?” – PARKER TUOMIE
By the time Parker Tuomie arrived in Wenatchee for the 2013-14 season, he was well seasoned in international play having played plenty of games for his home country of Germany. He averaged a point per game in his lone season with the Wild, earning a spot on the NAHL’s All-Rookie First Team. He moved on to join Sioux Falls in the USHL for two seasons, winning a championship and then was named captain the following year.
His four year career at Minnesota State – Mankato was remarkable. He racked up an impressive 132 points in 152 games, ranking him sixth all-time at the school. He was part of three WCHA regular season titles, two NCAA tournament appearances and a WCHA playoff title. Twice he was named to the All-WCHA Second Team.
With his collegiate career complete, Tuomie has advanced to the professional ranks, joining Eisbären Berlin in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, regarded as the highest level of pro hockey in Germany.
