COURCHENE LOST FOR SEASON

A former member of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Southeast Blades, Courchene underwent successful surgery at Health Sciences Centre on Sunday and is expected to be in hospital until Wednesday.r

In 56 games with the Wheat Kings this season, Courchene had eleven goals and 24 points. As well, he has accumulated 150 minutes in penalties.r

During his three year WHL career, Courchene has eighteen goals, 45 points and 358 penalty minutes in 173 games.r
