The Vees returned the favour against the Kamloops Blazers at the SOEC. After falling 4-3 in a shootout last week in Kamloops, the Vees picked up the 4-3 overtime win at home.  

The Blazers opened the scoring on Tuesday night finding the back of the net 7:45 into the first to make it 1-0. 

Penticton would tie it before the first wrapped up as Noel Pakarinen batted home a loose puck to make it 1-1 after 20 minutes. Thor Liffiton and Kash Alger-East had the assists. 

The Vees took their first lead of the night off a rush chance from Gavin Katz who wired it past the Blazers goaltender to make it 2-1. Jackson Schneider picked up the lone assist.

That was all the scoring in the middle frame. 

The Blazers tied the game at two less than five minutes into the third period on a scramble play in front of Vees goaltender AJ Reyelts. 

After the Blazers took the 3-2 lead the Vees answered on the powerplay as Katz tucked the puck up and under the bar from in tight to make it 3-3 and send this game to overtime. 

The Vees would strike on the powerplay in the overtime period on a cross-crease pass from Katz to Tyden Bergeson who buried the puck and gave the Vees the 4-3 win.
