The Vees won their second game in as many nights, this time taking down the Kelowna Rockets by a 6-1 score at the SOEC on Wednesday night. 

 

Gio Pantelas opened the scoring for the Vees on the powerplay with the assists to Cal Stone and Gavin Katz. The Vees would make it 2-0 off the stick of Parker Deraney before the Rockets answered to make it 2-1 heading into the first intermission. 

 

Penticton would add to their lead shorthanded early in the second as Tristan Petersen scored in his return to Vees colours and then Peter Banecevic struck to make it 4-1 after 40. 

 

The Vees continued to dominate in the third. 

 

First, Pantelas batted home his second of the night to make it 5-1 before Katz wired one home on the powerplay to make it 6-1. That goal gives Katz six points in three preseason games played. 

 

That would be the final score. 

 

 The Vees now sit 2-0-0-1 in the preseason.
