Gallimore one-timed Noebels pass and beat Everett goalie Kent Simpson over the glove for his team leading 24th goal of the year.
Brenden Dillon cut the Tips lead to one, at 7:18 of the second, just as a T-Birds power play ended. Tyler Alos passed the puck to Dillon at the left point. Noebels stole the puck from an Everett player in the neutral zone on the left wing. Noebels skated into the Everett zone with a defender in front him. He put the puck under the defender’s stick, went around the defender to his right, got the puck and lifted it over Simpson’s glove with a backhand shot. The goal went to video review and was upheld as the puck crossed the goal line .01 seconds before the period end.
Both teams had 29 shots on goal after two periods.
Maxwell scored at 3:35 of the third to get a hat trick and put Everett back in front by two goals. Harrison had the only assist on the goal.
Travis Toomey quickly responded for the T-Birds 10 seconds after Maxwell’s goal. Gallimore skated the puck into the Everett zone along the right boards. Toomey skated hard down the slot and Gallimore fed him a pass. Toomey snapped the pass past Simpson high for his 12th goal of the year. Ryan Button had the second assist on the goal.
