Tip-a-Tip is Wednesday at El Paraiso!
Your favorite Everett Silvertips players are trading skate laces for apron strings this Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm to serve as celebrity waiters for our 2014 “Tip-a-Tip” night! For a second straight season, “Tip-a-Tip” will be held at all three local El Paraiso Mexican Grill locations in downtown Everett, Silver Lake and Snohomish. No reservations are needed – just stop by your nearest El Paraiso and let the Silvertips help serve you a delicious Mexican meal while also contributing to a good cause.
“Tip-a-Tip” night has supported a number of different charities over the years. Last year’s event helped pay for youth hockey equipment for kids without the means to buy it, while the prior year benefitted the Boys & Girls Club. This year’s “Tip-a-Tip” is being held in conjunction with our annual Navy Night festivities as the Silvertips host the rival Seattle Thunderbirds Friday at 7:35 pm. Donations collected Wednesday night will go toward the various community causes supported by the Naval Recruiting District Seattle Petty Officer’s Association.
The Petty Officer’s Association does valuable work throughout Snohomish County, both on and off Naval Station Everett, offering a helping hand to people in a variety of ways. They have paid to reconstruct flooded community baseball fields, covered airfare for sailors traveling for family emergencies around the country and contributed to many other local causes.
Bring your family or friends and join us Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm to meet the 2013-14 Silvertips, get autographs and snap photos on this year’s “Tip-a-Tip” night!
