LAST TIME OUT:
EVT 3 – SPO 2 (OT) (5-02-21): – For the first time this season, the Everett Silvertips required more than sixty minutes of hockey to determine an outcome as overtime hockey was necessary to break a 2-2 tie against the Spokane Chiefs. Team captain Cole Fonstad played the hero role when he delivered the overtime winner 3:06 into the extra frame to give his club a 3-2 victory on the road. Fonstad recorded two goals while Silvertips forward Jackson Berezowski was named the game’s third star after netting his fifth of the season on a power play chance 30 seconds into the middle frame. With three games left on the regular season slate, the Silvertips have officially clinched first-place in the US Division to claim their eighth division title in 18 seasons.
