Silvertips unveil “Nightmare” black uniforms for Friday the 13th
EVERETT, Wash. — The Everett Silvertips have unveiled special-edition “Nightmare” jerseys to be worn during their game on Friday, Dec. 13 against the Wenatchee Wild.
The “Everett Nightmare” is a newly designed black sweater with a recolored crest, featuring a black bear with glowing red eyes and a green-and-silver outline. The signature Silvertips treeline design adorns the bottom of the sweater, the sleeves, and the socks of the uniform with less-defined edges to symbolize both the undistinguishable mystery of a darkened forest and the sharp fangs of the “Nightmare” beast.
The Silvertips will wear green helmets with green pants and green gloves with their jerseys.
Game-worn jerseys will be auctioned online through Dash, as facilitated by Center Field Sports. Fans in attendance of Friday’s game will have access to an exclusive in-person raffle for Lincoln’s “Nightmare” sweater. Raffle tickets will be sold at the Center Field Sports booth outside Section 114, with the winner determined during the third period.
Specially designed “Nightmare” warm-up pucks will also be used prior to the game, presented by HockeyWolf. Pucks will be available for purchase as well.
The online auction will begin on Friday the 13th and run until Friday the 20th. More details will follow.
