Comrie commits to MacEwan for 2021-22 season
The MacEwan Griffins announced today that Kelowna Rockets overage defenceman Sean Comrie has committed to their program for the 2021-22 season.
Comrie was limited to 35 games with the Rockets last season, picking up 3 goals and 14 assists. He suffered a shoulder injury that required season-ending surgery.
This year, Comrie has appeared in both of the Rockets games, posting two penalty minutes.
He was originally a second-round pick of the Brandon Wheat Kings in the 2015 WHL Draft. The Rockets acquired the Edmonton, Alta. products WHL playing rights from the Wheat Kings in May 2019.

The Griffins are a member of the Canada West Universities Athletic Association. Canada West’s member teams include the University of Alberta, the University of Saskatchewan, the University of Calgary, Mount Royal, UBC, the University of Regina and the University of Manitoba.
