Since relocating to Kelowna in 1995, the Kelowna Rockets have established themselves as one of the most respected franchises in the Canadian Hockey League. Built on a foundation of excellence, development, and community, the Rockets have consistently set the standard for what it means to be a championship-caliber organization — on and off the ice.

Our tradition isn’t just about wins and banners. It’s about the players who have come through our dressing room and gone on to become leaders in hockey and life. It’s about the fans who pack Prospera Place, generation after generation. And it’s about the culture of accountability, pride, and purpose that defines what it means to wear the Rocket.

A Legacy of Excellence

Since joining the WHL:

  • 4 WHL titles (2003, 2005, 2009, 2015)

  • 8 Division Titles

Our teams have been known for grit, speed, and discipline — trademarks that have defined Rockets hockey for three decades.

Prospera Place: Home Ice Advantage

Since 1999, Prospera Place has been more than just an arena — it’s a proving ground. With a seating capacity of over 6,000, it has hosted the Memorial Cup, WHL Playoffs, international tournaments, and some of the loudest crowds in junior hockey.

Our fans — loyal, passionate, and generational — create one of the most electric atmospheres in the league.

Culture. Commitment. Rockets Way.

Every player that walks into our locker room is expected to represent more than just a name on the back of the jersey. The Rockets Way is built on:

  • Player development on and off the ice

  • Leadership and accountability

  • Respect for tradition and community

From daily workouts to game nights and school visits, Rockets players are held to a championship standard in everything they do.

A Family. A Franchise. A Tradition.

Whether you’re a fan, billet family, alumni, sponsor, or player — you’re part of the Rockets family. And with every passing season, the tradition grows stronger.
