TEAM NOTES PREPARED BY ROCKETS COMMUNICATIONS STAFF
- The Kelowna Rockets will take on the Prince George Cougars tonight in their first of twelve meetings this season. The two won’t have to wait long to face each other again, following tonight’s matchup, they’ll face off again on November 12 and 13 up in Prince George at the CN Centre.
- Kelowna is coming off of back-to-back-to-back high scoring games that have gone to extra time. Jake Poole lifted the Rockets past the Victoria Royals 5-4 on Saturday, October 30. Andrew Cristall scored his first overtime winner on Wednesday night to push the Rockets past the Vancouver Giants 7-6. In Wednesday night’s contest, four of the Rockets seven goals came from the blueline. Last night the Rockets erased a two-goal deficit to force a shootout where they fell 5-4. Andrew Cristall and Jake Poole both scored for the Rockets, while Pavel Novak had a two-goal game. Cole Tisdale replaced Colby Knight in net, stopping 20 of the 21 shots fired on him in the loss.
- The Cougars played last night in Langley, where they fell 3-1 to the Giants. Riley Heidt scored the lone goal for Prince George, the second overall pick in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft leads the Cougars in scoring with 12 points (4G, 8A) in 10 games.
- Kelowna has made a handful of roster moves since the end of the preseason. The team acquired Colton Dach from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for centre Trevor Wong on September 28. The team then made another trade to pick up goaltender Colby Knight from the Edmonton Oil Kings on October 12. The Rockets reassigned defenceman Will Irvine and goaltender Nicholas Cristiano and released overage netminder Cole Schwebius. Ethan Ernst was dealt to the Tri-City Americans.
- The Rockets have been without defenceman Elias Carmichael since last week, he has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury.
- Centreman Nolan Flamand posted a career-best four assists against the Vancouver Giants on Wednesday night. The Rockets second-round pick from the 2019 WHL Draft now has six points (1G, 5A) in seven games this season.

Select Your Tickets is open 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and opens at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday home game days.

The Kelowna Rockets online 50/50 is back for the 2021-22 season!
The online 50/50 will give fans in Rockets fans located in British Columbia the chance to win during every Rockets home game this season. The 50/50 will also raise important dollars for the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association.
Tickets will be available for purchase on all game days starting at 9 a.m. PT and end at the start of the third period on the same day.

Due to Covid-19 protocols, printed lineup sheets will not be available at games for fans this season. They can be accessed online in the game day program.
