Riders, Grey Cup Electrify PA!
Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – The Prince Albert Raiders in conjunction with major corporate sponsor Molson Canada, are pleased to announce that 4 members of the 2007 Grey Cup Champion Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Grey Cup itself, will be at the Art Hauser Centre this Friday! The Riders and Cup will be on display before the game and in the first intermission as the Raiders entertain the Red Deer Rebels at 7:30 PM.
The Riders, who have visited Raider games in the past courtesy Molson are sending four players this year:
• 2006 West Conference All-Star Wide Receiver Matt Dominguez
• 12 year Rider veteran, Fullback Chris Szarka
• Defensive Lineman Marcus “Chunky” Adams
• Regina product, who scored a TD in the West Final win over BC, Fullback Neal Hughes
The doors to the Art Hauser Centre will open a half hour early Friday at 6:00 PM to accommodate the many Rider and Raider fans who want to have their picture taken with the Grey Cup and get autographs. The Riders will be available from 6:00 to 7:15 PM in The Johnny Bower Lobby before proceeding to centre ice for pre-game ceremonies. The Riders also will be available for pictures and autographs in the first intermission only in the Ches Leach Lounge.
“Friday will be an extremely exciting night for sports fans in PA and area,” commented Bruce Vance, Raiders Director of Marketing. “Thanks to our great partners with Molson, the Riders are sending four key members, along with the Cup. Fans can bring their own cameras and any items they would like signed by the Riders.”
Fans can enjoy a great pre-game meal Friday catered by The Loft. Friday’s menu includes Stuffed Pork Loin, Oven Roasted Potatoes, Corn and Greek Salad and is available for only $9/plate in the Ches Leach Lounge starting at 6:00 PM Friday.
