Ryder Ritchie to attend 2024 NHL Combine in Buffalo
The National Hockey League announced the participants for the upcoming 2024 NHL Scouting Combine, which will be held at KeyBank Center and LECOM HarborCenter in Buffalo. Ryder Ritchie will be one of the 100 players attending the combine.
The combine, running from June 3-8, provides the 32 NHL teams with physical and medical assessments of the top prospects ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft, set to take place from June 28-29 at Sphere in Las Vegas.
As the final showcase event before the draft, the NHL combine is a week filled with interviews, medical examinations, and fitness testing. This environment allows players to interact with NHL personnel, while the teams gain valuable insights into the future stars of the game.
Among the 100 players attending the combine, there are 62 forwards, 35 defensemen, and three goalies, all of whom are listed in NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings of North American and International skaters and goaltenders.
“The NHL combine is the final showcase event before the NHL draft and it’s a week full of interviews, medicals and fitness testing where the players get to interact with NHL personnel and the NHL clubs get to learn as much as possible about the future stars of our game,” says NHL Central Scouting Director Dan Marr.
In 47 regular season games in 2023-24, Ritchie scored 19 goals and collected 25 assists for 44 points. The 2023 WHL Rookie of the Year led all Raiders in postseason scoring with seven points in five games.
